Learning format
This MBI programme centres entirely on your own professional practice. Your workplace provides the context for assignments and professional deliverables, allowing you to create immediate value for your organisation. You will complete six modules, with on-campus sessions every two weeks. During these sessions, you will discuss theory and practice with fellow students under the guidance of experienced lecturers.
You will prepare for each session by independently studying video lectures and relevant literature. Our lecturers hold strategic positions in business and ICT and draw on their experience to expertly translate theoretical insights into your day-to-day professional practice. Each module concludes with an individual professional deliverable that you will work towards throughout the module.
Knowledge sharing and knowledge creation will further shape your professional development. You will also receive individual guidance, coaching and opportunities for reflection to support your personal growth.
Time commitment
The MBI programme takes two years to complete and comprises 60 ECTS credits, requiring an average commitment of 20 hours per week. You will complete six modules, each lasting ten weeks and including five on-campus sessions held every two weeks. A further 16 weeks are allocated to practice-based research and your master’s thesis.
The fortnightly schedule makes it easy to combine the sessions with your work. Between sessions, you will study the literature independently and complete assignments.
You can also spread the workload over three years. We will agree on this in a flexible but binding study contract. This ensures that you, your fellow students and the lecturers can rely on your full commitment whenever you participate in a module.
Degree
After successfully completing the MBI programme, you will receive the Master of ICT and Business Innovation degree certificate from Habeo+.
You will be awarded the MBI degree and entitled to use the title MSc. This professional master’s programme is accredited by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) under CROHO registration number 70223. You will therefore earn a recognised master’s qualification that formally confirms your expertise at the intersection of business and ICT.

You will receive an invoice before the programme begins.
Payment by instalments is available on a quarterly or annual basis, subject to a 5% surcharge on the tuition fee.
All amounts stated exclude VAT. Tuition fees are exempt from VAT. All other costs are subject to 9% VAT.
